VP Applied Neuroscience, Neurosteer; Lecturer, Tel Aviv University
Dr. Neta Maimon builds bridges between fields that rarely share a room: music, neuroscience, and the logic that connects them. She trained as a classical and rock cellist before a PhD in Cognitive Psychology from Tel Aviv University, where she now also lectures across the Psychology and Music faculties. As VP of Applied Neuroscience at Neurosteer, she works the whole arc herself: clinical study design, rigorous scientific publication, advanced statistics and data science, and the product it all becomes, an automatic brain health assessment with exportable clinical reports now sold in US clinics for general population brain health. Her own research, validated in top tier peer reviewed publications, is part of why she was named to Globes' 40 Under 40, the newspaper's list of Israel's promising young leaders. It is also why her talks tend to end the same way: live cello, with an EEG on screen showing, in real time, exactly what the music is doing to her brain.
