The era of human-written code and manual pull request reviews is over. In the shift toward Agentic Software Engineering, we are no longer typists; we are orchestrators. A new role has emerged: the "Builder." Builders are highly creative and independent, acting as agent coaches who manage intent and strategy. However, if multiple independent builders unleash fleets of autonomous agents without governance, the result is a mess - repeated code, duplicated functionlity and architecture and infinite technical debt. This talk explores how to rebuild the "software factory" to support these builders. Just as construction workers need an architectural schematic to avoid colliding, agentic builders need a shared digital blueprint - a continuously updated metamodel of the system. We will cover the necessity of deterministic CI/CD guardrails, unified agent infrastructures, and how to define the boundaries that allow builders to innovate safely at maximum speed.
