Cloud-native applications mean cloud-native testing, and at the end of each month, cloud-native billing for this testing. We present minicloud, a high-fidelity cloud simulator that simulates cloud APIs on your laptop. It is able to launch VMs using real AMIs (which it will auto-download). High fidelity means that great effort was taken so the application will be have exactly as it does on the cloud. Currently AWS and GCP emulation are supported. The project is written in Rust.
